Despite the fact that I say I update on Saturday, the last few times have been on a Sunday, but I know that as soon as I change my schedule to update on Sunday, I’ll be updating on Monday. It’s a viscous cycle. Anyway, Russian soldier smoking a cigarette.
So this a sketch I did of Sherlock Holmes … While we are on the subject, Jeremy Brett is the best Sherlock!

I really need to stop posting these things late. So as a special treat you get two pictures! Ohhhhh… how nice. I recently watched Fellowship of the Ring, and I just loved that awesome door. And the weird moon is just a doodle I did while I was bored.

No! I was supposed to be posting this on Saturday and forgot! Oh well, anyway it’s a drawing of room with a place to hang your hat and jacket, and a box… Oh yeah and the creepy, creeping shadows to the right.

So this is a character called Coal who is the main protagonist of a brilliant webcomic called “Thistil Mistil Kistil” by Sarah Schanze.(It has vikings!) This particular drawing is just me eying a picture she drew and trying to recreate it… there are several things wrong with it, but I tried my best. All in all, it was really good practice for me. I’ll be posting alot more fanart of other webcomics I like in the future, including some of my own original creations. Before I forget, check out Sarah’s Tumblr here: http://depleti.tumblr.com/

I’ve been on a bit of a Portal 2 craze recently, so I thought it fitting to do some artwork of that. In the bottom left is Wheatley, not looking very amused, at the top right we have everybody’s favorite…. The Companion Cube! and some rectangular object.

So I’ve decided to start the new year and this tumblr off with some drawings from when I was 13. I haven’t really drawn anything since then, but I’ve got a new sketch pad and a schedule to put something out every Saturday. Calvin and Hobbes has always been my favorite comic duo, so it seems appropriate to me post some of my free-hand drawing/copying of Calvin.
